BW LPG India participated in LPG Week 2022, held from 14-18 November in New Delhi, India. The event was organised by the World LPG Association (WLPGA), and it brought together approximately 2,000 participants from the entire LPG value chain in India.
In conjunction with LPG Week, BW LPG India hosted a VIP Dinner on 17 November at Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, inviting senior industry leaders to a closed-door, exclusive event.
About LPG Week
Held annually, LPG Week brings together C-suite leaders of major LPG companies, government ministers and representatives of major intergovernmental organisations, to explore the LPG business, discuss growth potential and forge new business relationships. This year, the event was help at the India Expo Centre and Mart (IEML) in Greater Noida, New Delhi, India.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Niels Rigault was a panel speaker on the topic “Lessons from The Region. He discussed how the company navigated unique challenges to become the country’s largest owner and operator of India-flagged Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs), and the company’s growth plans in an exciting market. Niels also accepted an interview with Mr P Manoj, Editor – Shipping of Economic Times.
Women in LPG (WINLPG), the women’s chapter of WLPGA, reached out to BW LPG India with the request to spotlight our two young female seafarers at a WINLPG panel session. Ms Graancee Mathew and Ms Angida were excellent representatives for the company.
Meeting Our Stakeholders
We are grateful to have important public and private sector stakeholders visit us. Driven by environmental and health concerns, the Indian government is deeply committed to making clean cooking fuels, such as LPG, available to rural and low-income households. BW LPG India is proud to support the supply side of India’s growth story with our fleet of Very Large gas Carriers. We have ambitions to invest in infrastructure facilities within the LPG value chain in India and look forward to exploring opportunities with our partners.
