BW LPG India celebrates the IMO International Day for Women in Maritime 2024!
Observed every year on 18 May, the day celebrates women in the industry. By commemorating this day together with peers in the shipping sector, we want to encourage women to join us.
BW LPG India is playing our part to correct the current gender imbalance in our industry. One cadet at a time, we are supporting the meaningful employment of ambitious and capable women as they pursue careers at sea. We offer what may be India’s first and only full-paid scholarship to selected cadets at the Indian Maritime University, with guaranteed placement onboard ships that offer an inclusive workplace to gain sea experience.
